Terms of service
Last updated 4 September 2026.
1. Who we are
Conexa Remote (the "Service") is provided by POINT OF BUSINESS SOFTWARE S.R.L., a company registered in Romania, trade register number J28/832/2016, CUI 36849440, with its registered office at Str. Carol I nr. 19F, ap. 2, Slatina, Olt county, Romania, trading as Conexa ("we", "us"). Contact: sales@conexa.software.
2. What the Service is
The Service consists of the Conexa Remote desktop application and the signalling, relay and account infrastructure that connects them. It allows a technician with an account ("Technician") to view and control a computer whose user ("Customer") has installed the application and accepted a connection request. A "concurrent session" is one live connection to one Customer device at one moment in time; two Technicians working in the same session count as one session, and when a session ends it is free for the next connection.
3. Accounts
Technician accounts are created by us or by your administrator. You are responsible for keeping credentials confidential and for all activity under your account. Accounts are personal and may not be shared. You must notify us promptly of any suspected unauthorised use.
4. Acceptable use
You may only connect to devices whose user has accepted your connection request, or which you own or are authorised to administer and on which unattended access has been enabled by the owner. You must not use the Service to access devices without authorisation, to interfere with other users, to distribute malware, or in breach of applicable law. We may suspend accounts that violate this section.
5. Customer application
The Customer application is licensed under the MIT licence and may be installed on any number of devices free of charge. Installing it does not create an account or a contract for the Customer beyond acceptance of the MIT licence terms.
6. Fees and payment
The Service is billed per concurrent session, as published on the pricing page or agreed in writing. The Personal plan is free and includes one concurrent session; Professional includes two, and each additional concurrent session is billed separately. Technician accounts and Customer devices are not billed: neither their number nor their use affects the fee. Prices are published in euro and are final; no VAT is added. Invoices are issued in euro. Fees are payable in advance, monthly or annually. Monthly plans may be cancelled with effect from the end of the current billing month; annual plans are paid up front, run for twelve months and do not end early. Fees are non-refundable except where required by law.
7. Availability and support
We aim for continuous availability of the signalling and relay infrastructure but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. Planned maintenance is announced in advance where practical. Support is provided by email according to your plan.
8. Data protection
Our processing of personal data is described in the privacy policy. Where you use the Service to support your own customers, you are the controller of the data you access on their devices and we act as your processor for session metadata. A data processing agreement is available on request.
9. Intellectual property
The Conexa Remote software is released under the MIT licence. The Conexa name, logo and this website remain our property. Nothing in these terms grants a right to use our trademarks.
10. Warranties and liability
The Service is provided as is. To the extent permitted by law we exclude all implied warranties and limit our aggregate liability arising out of or in connection with the Service to the fees paid by you in the twelve months preceding the claim. We are not liable for actions taken by Technicians on Customer devices, nor for loss of data on devices we do not operate.
11. Termination
You may stop using the Service at any time. We may terminate or suspend access for breach of these terms with notice where practicable. On termination, your session log remains exportable for 30 days.
12. Changes
We may update these terms. Material changes are announced by email to account holders at least 30 days before they take effect. Continued use after that date constitutes acceptance.
13. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Romania. Disputes are subject to the jurisdiction of the competent courts in Romania, without prejudice to mandatory consumer protection rules.
