How the technician connects

Once the app is installed, connecting is one number.

The 9-digit address

The customer reads you the address their app shows. It never changes, so most days it is already in your contacts.

How connecting works

Installing on the customer's computer

Send them this page, or walk them through it on the phone. It takes about two minutes.

Windows

  1. Download conexa-remote.exe and run it.
  2. Choose whether to install the optional system helper (needed for UAC prompts and Ctrl+Alt+Del). It asks for administrator approval once.
  3. Conexa Remote opens on the Allow access tab and shows the permanent 9-digit address. Click Put address online.
  4. Read the address to your technician. When the request arrives, click Accept.

macOS

  1. Unzip Conexa-Remote-macOS.zip and drag the app to Applications.
  2. Open Conexa Remote from Applications.
  3. Grant Screen Recording when prompted (System Settings › Privacy & Security). This is what lets the technician see your screen.
  4. Grant Accessibility in the same place. This is what lets them move the mouse and type.
  5. Back in the app, click Put address online and read the 9-digit address to your technician.
